Endless Coma: Rising rage
05/04/12 || Curt
I have no idea what possessed me to pick this stub up to review. “Rising Rage” was tagged as nu-metal, a genre I normally don’t care too much for, but I thought “- Hey, why not branch out and give something new a chance for once? Maybe you’ll like it”.
Turns out I was wrong.
I don’t especially like it. Why? The singer starts off using a death grunt that sounds really fucking cool, but then starts singing, making you think he’s gonna do a “good cop, bad cop” vocal styling, but nope, he just keeps singing 90% of the time which sucks as death grunts are what most of these songs need to take off-that and the fact that most of the songs start to build up and then fall flat due to just not having any hook to them. I’m sure with a bit of practice these guys will get better, but right now they just aren’t anything special.
3/10. Bah. OK, but nothing special.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
